22 June 2005Thanks to all who came out to support Aarktica for our recent Southern California shows, it was a pretty great time. Didn't really want to leave... As for myself, Los Angeles is the only place I've been in the States in which I could see myself living other than New York City, so maybe a coastal swap someday. If I can edit it down enough, I'll be posting a tour diary soon...either here or on QRD...and pictures from the tour.
Special thanks to Sam and Jessalyn at Che Cafe, Marcos Fernandes, Wendy Wilson, James and Mike at KUCI, Adam from Pehr Records, Scott at Tangier, Matt Costa, Viking Moses, Brooke and all the folks at Timbrespace, Carrico's mom, Eric Blackwell, Zack Mathers (alls i know is, he's the most gracious host ever...), The Lights From Here, The Meeting Places, Timonium, Chris Suterko, Baby Red (the sweetest girl in LA), Bitten (for the Danzig stories and making me want to die), Flower & Mountain, Birds of Fire, Tecumseh, James and Chandra at Darla Records, all the friends who chatted and drank with us til all hours, and anyone else I may have mentally misplaced at the moment. Hopefully we'll see you all again sooner than later. - Jon / Aarktica
